FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about Dreamer Education.
Do you work with every student that gets in touch with you?
We are unable to work with every student due to our personalized approach, which significantly limits our capacity. Although we offer an initial free conversation, this does not automatically guarantee further guidance. The initial conversation can be seen as a kind of interview process, where both sides determine whether continued guidance is possible. The ideal scenario for individual students is when we collaborate with their high school or academic institution, as this allows them to access certain resources developed by our team at all times.
Who is Dreamer Education for?
Dreamer Education is for high school and university students who are seeking to unlock their full academic potential and make the most of their academic journey. We support students during their studies by offering a wide range of academic guidance, as well as assistance with applications to various academic programs. This includes extracurricular opportunities as well as further studies - whether it is applying for a specific bachelor's degree, summer school, or a master's program.
What exactly does Dreamer Education offer?
Dreamer Education offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support high school and university students in their academic journeys. Our offerings include personalized academic guidance and assistance with applications to various academic programs and extracurricular opportunities. We aim to help students unlock their full potential and make informed decisions about their studies, whether they are applying for a specific bachelor's degree, summer school, or a master's program.
How we do it: We mainly cooperate with high schools by providing them with technological solutions for managing academics in combination with in-person academic guidance support systems such as academic counseling, presentations about academics, learning tips, extracurricular opportunities, and more. Students also have access to various resources such as a student-university recommender, providing personal recommendations about further studies.
How does academic guidance start?
We offer a non-binding conversation with one of our academic mentors. During this initial discussion, the mentor will walk you through the entire process - what the journey could look like, what is possible, and offer a first impression of how we might support and guide the student during their studies.
How much does a consultation with Dreamer Education cost?
The cost depends on the type of academic support the student needs. For example, it varies depending on whether the student is applying to a specific bachelor's or master's program, seeking guidance during their current studies, preparing for specific examinations during high school, or simply looking for ongoing mentoring and navigation through high school or a university degree.
Why Dreamer Education?
Many students miss out on academic and extracurricular opportunities simply because they are unaware of them or due to social or other barriers. Furthermore, there are many aspects of an academic journey that can be drastically improved thanks to the experience and expertise of our academic advisors. Dreamer Education was created to help students truly seize these opportunities, excel in their academic paths, make informed decisions about further studies, and drastically improve their experience in any academic institution.
What makes Dreamer Education different from other services?
The key difference is our human and personal approach in connection with our technological in-house developed tools, combined with deep field experience. Our founder has studied at around ten different universities and received offers from some of the world's most prestigious institutions in both Europe and the US. With a strong network of people at top universities, we are uniquely positioned to guide students toward these institutions or through them, and help them make the most out of their academic journey. More importantly, since Dreamer Education is an independent organization not profiting from providing services for universities, we prioritize students and not universities in our services. This means we view a student's academic journey not as a battlefield that imposes unnecessary stress, but as a path of personal growth and the unlocking of potential. Thus, ensuring that the student not only succeeds but also enjoys the entire process.
When is the ideal time to start working with Dreamer Education?
The simple answer is the earlier, the better. Starting early allows us to provide the most comprehensive support needed to help students reach their goals.
For example, if a student is already in the final year of high school, it can be quite challenging to navigate them toward top universities - it may be too late to check all the boxes those institutions require. However, if a student begins working with us in the first year of high school, we can guide them through numerous extracurricular and outside-of-school opportunities, help them prepare for standardized testing well in advance, and make sure they are aware of everything they need to accomplish before university applications even begin.
The same applies to university students. With early guidance, we can help them structure their studies effectively - whether it is learning how to prepare for specific types of exams or how to make the most of university resources. This kind of tailored support can make their university experience far more successful and enjoyable, avoiding unnecessary struggles or inefficient study methods.
Is your academic guidance in person or virtual?
We strongly believe that face-to-face interactions are not replaceable, but their full potential can be utilized only by using technology in the proper way. Hence, our academic guidance is hybrid, both in person and virtually. We understand that each student is unique, and to offer personalized support that fits their individual circumstances, we utilize cutting-edge technological tools in combination with academic counselor guidance. Whether through face-to-face meetings or online consultations, our goal is to ensure that students receive the guidance they need to succeed in their academic journey.
In fact, any consultant who promises guaranteed results is likely acting unethically. Instead, the role of an admissions consultant is to maximize a student's chances of being accepted.
